the tv is the stage.
your phone is the mic.
karaoke.fyi turns any TV into a full-blown show. Plug in, guests scan a code, and everyone's holding the room from their pocket before the first chorus.
NO APP. NO LOGIN. NO EXCUSES.
HOW A NIGHT STARTS
in before the chorus
three moves. that's the whole setup.
put up the stage
One device becomes the Stage: plug it into any TV and it plays karaoke videos full-screen, singer's name on the marquee, who's-up-next scrolling underneath.
everyone grabs a mic
Guests scan a QR or tap a texted link, drop in a name, emoji, and color, and they're queuing songs in under 10 seconds.
the room goes off
After every song, every phone turns into a 10-second applause frenzy β taps stack a crowd meter on the TV, and when it maxes out, the confetti hits.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
built for the room, not the app store
every feature exists because a real party needed it.
full-screen karaoke, zero tabs
Every song plays right on the Stage, lyrics and all. No browser fumbling, no "wait, is this the right video."
in before the chorus
Scan a QR or tap a link, type your name, pick a color β you're in the room before the intro's over.
hold to hype
One big button, one job. Mash it and your emoji rains down over the singer's face, live, on the big screen.
the roof comes off
Every phone taps for 10 seconds after each song and the crowd meter fills on the TV in real time. Max it out, get confetti.
know everything, ruin nothing
The Wire is a live feed of who queued what and who's up next, right on your phone, so you never miss the moment.
spotify picks your songs
What it does: reads your top 20 artists and fills your SING tab with songs you'd actually choose, so you're not scrolling a 334-song book at a party.
What it doesn't do: play any music. Karaoke videos come from YouTube either way β this only changes what gets suggested to you. We can't see your playlists and never post anything.
Optional. Spotify only allows five accounts on an app our size, so everyone else types three artists and gets the same setlist.
sing it your way
Every song comes three ways: classic karaoke with the words, music only if you know it cold, or the real recording with the artist singing alongside you.
your phone is literally the mic
Tap once and your voice comes out of the TV speakers. No cables, no Bluetooth pairing, no borrowed mic that smells like last party.
closing ceremony energy
Scores stay secret all night. Hit "end the night" and the TV throws a full awards show naming who actually ran the room.
THE CLOSING CEREMONY
you WILL win something
scores are secret all night. everybody finds out at once.
Karaoke Champion
the numbers don't lie, and tonight they're about you.
Crowd Favorite
the room decided before you even hit the last note.
Iron Lungs
that whole song, on one breath. we all saw it.
The Understudy
queued three songs, sang zero. we're still proud of you.
Chief Hype Officer
thumb calluses from holding that button all night.
The Politician
begged to go next in every chat, got your way every time.
The Algorithm's Bestie
hit shuffle, trusted the machine. the machine did not disappoint.
TRY THE MACHINE
can't pick a song? don't.
this is the actual roulette from the app. spin it.
KNOW THYSELF
which award would YOU win?
four questions. brutal honesty optional.
OVERHEARD AT PARTIES
extremely real testimonials*
*from extremely real archetypes. you know who you are.
FINE PRINT, LOUD FONT
questions people yell at us
Do I need to download anything?
No. Scan the QR or tap the link β it runs straight from your phone's browser.
What does it cost?
Nothing. We built this for our own parties. It's a friends project, not a business β free is the whole point.
Is my data safe?
We only ever ask for a first name and the songs you pick. Every party deletes itself automatically after 30 days.
What songs are on there?
A 334-song house book to start, plus literally anything on YouTube β search it and karaoke.fyi finds the karaoke version for you.
Can I duet?
Yes. Queue it together, share the mic, share the applause meter. Nobody's checking who sang louder. (well. the awards are.)
